Minecraft with Gadget

Minecraft with Gadget is an infamous video posted to Cinemassacre in 2012. It has appeared several times on The Channel of Egg.

Origins

Minecraft with Gadget was originally created by Mike Matei and uploaded to the Cinemassacre YouTube channel on May 11, 2012. In the video, Matei plays and reviews Minecraft Pocket Edition with an animated Inspector Gadget. During the review, Gadget frequently mispronounces the game's name as "Minecrap" and "Mineycrafta", talks about how he enjoys building "brown bricks", and insults a random person for building a scale model of the Starship Enterprise, claiming that they have "never had sex". The video ends with Gadget shooting and killing Mike for no reason.

The video received large amounts of backlash from viewers, and was removed from the Cinemassacre channel shortly later. For several years, Matei would frequently send copyright takedowns to reuploads of the videos, but after the video became a meme in 2017, his opinion on it seemed to change, and the video was even officially reuploaded in 2020.

Running joke

Minecraft with Gadget first appeared on The Channel of Egg in the video brown bricks in minecrap. The video has continued to appear on the channel since then.
